Wonder:
“He neither slumbers nor sleeps” (Psalm 121:4). This refers to the unchanging nature of God … This wonderful Attribute of God is no change: God is Immutable. What stability for the human soul! The definition of this Attribute can be stated as this: God never differs from Himself. He is always God and nothing else but God — always and forever. So the Spirit uses the metaphor of sleep. God never sleeps.
Word:
I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed. (Malachi 3:6 ESV)
Walk:
Let us try to be unchanging toward Him. His eyes “run to and fro in the earth” looking for those who are looking to Him. When His eyes view your heart, may He find there a little hot furnace of love, burning hot for Him, as His heart is hot for you. If you think this will be hard for you, ask Him to give you a heart for Him, as His heart is for you. He is your never-fickle Lover, dear reader. Strive to keep your love hot for Him. Ask Him to make your love for Him grow. He will help you.
