Wonder:
God’s Omnipresence means that God is everywhere. … His Eternality is that He is not limited by time. His Omnipresence is that He is not limited by space.
Word:
Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,” even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.
Psalm 139:7-12 (ESV)
Walk:
He is the Witness, and He will always judge us accurately. Therefore, let His Presence always be your policeman as you live your life through sunshine or shady clouds.
God’s Presence is the great dimension of our lives. In Him, we live and move and have our being. As His children, He holds us and guides us. We Christians live in a unique other dimension: the dimension of the Living and Present God. His Presence can shine into our clouds.
Our earthly lives can become so God-enamored that every bush is alive with Him. Oh, if we only had eyes to see! This is the whole meaning of life. The curtain between the natural and spiritual world disappears, and our cold, scientific world again becomes the warm, intimate, God-filled and angelic world of the Bible. God is accessible to every loving heart. We all can have a “burning bush.”
